Overview
An ensemble narrative follows a group of African mothers and children living in Rome’s squatted buildings during a day trip to the beach. When a young boy named Adonai disappears, it brings to light the shared trauma of crossing the Mediterranean, confronting the mothers with their painful memories and connecting the community through a deeply spiritual relation with the sea.
